About Happy Masks

HappyMasks is a new business set up in the midst of the 2020 Coronavirus lockdown when expat Simon lost his London-based Massage business (because who wants a massage when you could be unknowingly infected with the virus)… And looking for a way to stay above water, keep paying his assistant and help others, his wife Ereni hit upon the idea of cute, printed, reusable face masks.

Ereni woke Simon up at 3 am with the revelation to sell face masks with unique designs… This was such an effective subliminal method that a few days later Simon thought that it was his own idea! Ereni surely corrected him…

Simon found a supplier and put together this website (and wrote it in third-person for some reason) while Ereni came up with designs. Simon’s assistant Eirene made up the cool designs and Happy Masks was born!

Now we’re looking for others to join the #HappyMasksFamily and share the good news about these cool masks 🙂

There are a few key concepts behind Happy Masks…

They are thus:

1/ Coronavirus may well be a part of our life for the foreseeable future, so disposable masks aren’t going to work… Instead washable, reusable masks made of fabric is the key! With replaceable carbon filters inserted into a pocket in the mask

2/ If Coronavirus is indeed part of our future, then people are going to want to express themselves through their choice of masks, hence we have come up with a number of different designs, for him, her and the kids…

3/ Price Gouging makes us sick! So we’ve decided to price these masks in a reasonable way, to give discount codes and incentives to buy more, to share the incentives with family and friends…

4/ To offer other people (massage therapists, service staff etc) a way to supplement their income with an Affiliate program (having your own web link to share around the internet to your friends and contacts). So instead of spending money on advertising, we’d rather share the money with the people who help us grow! We’ve made a commitment to giving 25% commission to our affiliates!

5/ We’ve also made a commitment to make less profit and encourage our customers to donate to charities supporting COVID-19 initiatives, to help Doctors and Nurses keep fighting the good fight, and to support vulnerable people survive the tough times… We’re decided to donate to Doctors without Borders.
